One last minute addition to the Enchanted Forest was the Matterhorn ride, assembled just days before the park's July 1st opening. The ride was such a last minute addition it was not included on the park maps from the 1974 season.
The portable attraction was designed for fast assembly, so the work crews quickly had the framework together and had the canvas roof in place.
