Much like
the year before, Fright Fest 2008 was a slightly more subdued affair
with Six Flags new focus on bringing families back to the parks and less
on teens and thrills. Many of the attractions and shows were held over
from the previous season.
The focus was on safe fun, with
increased security in the park and zero tolerance for troublemakers.
Many park regulars complained about the lack of new experiences and lack
of "scary" that had been one of the hallmarks of previous years. The
idea was scary, but not too scary, and keep it family friendly so
parents would feel safe in the park with their kids. |
