Fright Fest 2011 saw the return of the hayride with "Haunted Wagon Tales". For many guests the hayrides of previous seasons were a favorite attraction and event regulars would often bemoan the fact that the hayride was discontinued. Bringing it back made many of those guests very happy as they were able to travel through the deep woods on a journey to Dracula's Mansion, which was actually the original home of Great Adventure's original land owner Stanley Switlik. In addition two new walk through attractions debuted for 2011 with Mortuary Manor and Escape from the Asylum.
