The second year of Halloweekends was more of the same as the first, but with more props, more decorations, and more events. It was still very simple overall, with an emphasis on simple fun activities and shows. The many of the props used were things found laying around in the backstage areas which were repurposed. Pallets, planters and scraps of wood and other stuff was made spooky with the addition of paint, cobwebs, hay bales and pumpkins made for a fun fall event. The Monster Magic show took over the Bandstand, and was the first real Halloween show the park offered. The hayrides and all of the shows were very family oriented. The emphasis was on fun rather than fright that would come in later years.
