LANDSCAPING

Since its opening in 1974, Great Adventure has always benefitted from beautiful landscapes throughout its theme park.  This wonderful attention to colorful flowerbeds and lush plantings carried over to the Safari Exploration Station in the forms of innovative displays of nature and whimsical topiaries.  Ever year the area became more and more attractive through maturing greenery and new additions to their gardens.  The Safari Exploration Station also shared several simple environmentally friend ideas that visitors could do at home including a rainwater cistern, compost bins, and butterfly gardens.
