Guarding the security entrance to the theme park, guests to the 2017 Fright Fest season were greeted by a massive ghoulish gatekeeper complete with glowing red eyes and sharpened sickle.  Two terror trails were updated this year.  Wasteland was renamed Aftermath and across the park Voodoo Island became Wicked Woods.  Towards the back center of the park, Lady of the Lake Cemetery scare zone was home to the ghost of the drowned bride Guinevere and her spooky friends. A new stage show, Unleashed, was presented in the Showcase Theatre and featured acrobatics, magic, and dance.  Elsewhere, IGNNITE, offered a dazzling fire presentation, and YouTube sensation Corvyx performed on a small temporary stage near the entrance to the Bone Butcher Terror-Tory.
