News
& Notes: New for the 1996 season was Skull
Mountain, an indoor "family" coaster, featuring an elaborately
themed building and queue. The ride system designed and built
by INTAMIN features long trains which travel a tire driven lift hill which
runs outdoors behind a waterfall, then plunges into darkness for the rest
of its course.
The Rotor (also known as Typhoon) was relocated to the Hernando's Hideaway
section of Frontier Adventures, and was renamed Taz Twister, where it
remained until the end of the 2005 season.
