& Events: Superman:
Ultimate Flight made its debut in the Spring of 2003, as the first
"flying" coaster in the Northeast. Also, the S&S
Power "Absolutely Insane" ride erUPtion was added to the park
after more than a year long delay as the structure was re-engineered by
the manufacturer.
The park also had its second Winter Lights
event for the holiday season. The second season featured an
expanded village, utilizing the catering area and featuring a larger
shopping and dining area, a model train display, a kids train ride, and an
ice skating rink.
The Jumpin' Jack Flash and Pendulum
rides were removed after several seasons of intermittent operations, with
the Pendulum being relocated to Six Flags Great America as Revolution
the following season.
